MARCH 2022 Dyno Session

What was meant to be a final tuning session after many street tuned miles, ended in a failure on the dyno. After experiencing break up starting at 5200rpms, tuning it out up to 6200rpms the session was cut short pushing coolant out of the rad cap and failure of Electronic boost controller. Final Numbers yet to be determined, but made 301whp and 254tq at 6200rpms. Redline is currently set at 7800rpms. Will return after some more testing on the street. Car feels really strong again after the new headgasket went in.

ES FEST 2021

August 2021, ES FEST, also known as Eugene Stance Fest. I had the privilege of attending a show that I was at two years earlier and showing the car at an event I had lost “Best Mazda” at in 2019. This year My competition was and FD and a Cx-5. I did not walk away with a trophy, but had an absolute blast. It’s great seeing this event grow each time it is held and look forward to showing up with a race car again and having the ability to represent the companies who have helped me, meet more locals and talk cars.

City Limits Show

September 2021, a first year show, City Limits Meet put on a Car Show in Downtown Eugene. Bringing nearly 100 cars and shutting down multiple blocks. This event put Car Enthusiasts front and center, near some of the premier businesses in town. I am grateful to announce that I walked away with “Best Engine Bay”. This event along with ES FEST 2021 were two of the target events I wanted to make for 2021. I look forward to attending more events and races as we look towards the 2022 season and finalize the car’s tune heading out of 2021.
